Age is merely a referential element to acknowledge one's generation. At 59, although I no longer hunger fame or glory, I just wish to keep my consciousness in focus. Doing best what I love , and filled with excitement even just to whip up a breakfast feast or smudging a song.
I always miss sitting around movie sets waiting for my cue or reading a spiel. So, when IzQitZoHandiWerks presented this video collage project basically to hawk this talent whose twilight years is at the wings to convene; I readily loved it and when they gave me the raw cut, there wasn't a minute before I spread it on Facebook. I never thought anyone would give a damn to ask WHO THE HELL IS XIXI MATURAN?

This says it all : ... a cryptic collage of photos of a third world creature lurking in the shadows of corrupt systems where everything has a price way beyond its worth and an industry where patronage leak kitsch and zombies are hailed as stars. xixi maturan is and never will be a star but rather a syndrome of an era of oblivious bald men paving straight paths to damnation.

UP TOO PERSONAL : Each fiber is stretched; exploited, hoarded for future misuse and left dried and with only a single [bad] breath. SUCH is the word to describe THIRD WORLD habits that define what is and what is not viable to anyone within its realm. One cannot have a choice, one must concede to the wails of hunger. If only to be part of it and then not for a price, then this pearly islands of corrupt officials and starstruck bastards would have at least some dignity to speak of and then dream about cornucopia.
